Why "awesome"?

The word “awesome” makes my heart sing.

 

When I am all that I can be, I feel joy, calm and ease. I have resilience, courage and creativity. I give others hope and inspiration to do the same. That’s why I strive to be awesome everyday.

Awesome Forge is here to support everyone to be their awesome self. It is a place of recovery, learning, inspiration, connection and experiment.

 

Founding story

Our founder, Emily Awesome, founded Awesome Forge in 2024. She wanted to combine coaching with her love of learning, writing and drawing. She wanted it to provide a sense of meeting and gathering. During that time, she was also rediscovering who she was, and she wished there’s just one place for others to go to have what they need as they re-parent themselves. 

 

On a dreary, rainy Seattle day, she happened to visit Lawless Forge, a workshop metal forge, and the “forge” word stuck. A little less clanging and high power tools, yet isn’t the process of rebuilding our lives similar to forging metals? Step-by-step, little-by-little, we morphed into a new being.
